Hello!

I’m Linda- Here is my story.

Reducing the Neurospicy Overwhelm

I’ve lived with ADHD, anxiety, and an autoimmune disease for as long as I can remember. At 48, I was also diagnosed with autism. For most of my life, it felt like I was constantly at war with my mind and body. Add years of addiction, a poor diet, and toxic relationships—and my nervous system was in full-blown survival mode.

I know what it’s like to sit in that space for years—stuck, scattered, exhausted, and unsure where to begin. Creating a consistent mindfulness or meditation routine can feel impossible when your brain is foggy, your attention span is short, and your to-do list never ends. If you’re a mom trying to break cycles of dysfunction while juggling neurodivergent symptoms of your own— I’ve been there. It’s a lot.

That’s why I started digging deep into the mind-body connection. I wanted to understand how to stop fighting myself and start healing. What I found changed my life—and led me to become certified in multiple somatic and mindfulness-based approaches.

Whether addiction is part of your story or not, life has a way of handing us stress, trauma, and emotional overload. And when we don’t have the tools to process those moments, they get stored in our bodies. We get sick. We get stuck. And our nervous systems stay on edge.

On The Mindful Neuro blog, you’ll find practical, neurodivergence-friendly ways to bring mindfulness into your everyday life—without needing a silent retreat or a perfectly clear mind. You’ll also find support for parenting, healing, and navigating life with a nervous system that’s been through some stuff. Because healing is not linear. It’s messy and takes time.

Healing with Expression

Writing and mindful movement are encouraged methods of self-exploration for mindfulness and somatic healing.

This was exemplified in my involvement in the 2022 Clean Ink project, a significant initiative within the recovery community where I orchestrated, contributed to, and edited the anthology titled “Clean Ink: An Anthology of Recovery Poetry and Tattoos,” published in 2022. This anthology comprises heartfelt contributions from individuals in recovery and their loved ones.
