iRest Yoga Nidra offers a supportive and science-backed way to unwind these patterns.
Look, I know shame can be a motivator for change. I have had my (un)fair share. This is the thing, motivation from shame usually stems from a deep belief that you are not good enough. You are not a good enough wife… good enough mom… good enough housekeeper… good enough___________. Fill in the blank, because we know the list can get long.
Shame is a breeding ground for anxiety and a race to change who you are quickly. When those expectations remain unfulfilled, you sink deeper. Sound familiar?
Let me tell you, if you want to let go of the overwhelm, change IS possible! And you can ditch the shame when traveling this journey. Through mindfulness and iRest we learn acceptance and how to acquire long-lasting change without the continual striving for it. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen.
Through guided body awareness and meditative inquiry, iRest helps you connect with your inner resource and safely explore what’s underneath the tension—without needing to fix or change anything.
iRest is a gentle, structured practice that helps you reconnect with what’s steady and true inside you—even when it feels like it’s not.
As you move through the 10 steps of iRest, you’ll begin to:
- Build inner resilience that supports healing—moment by moment
- Release physical and emotional tension
- Reduce anxiety and restore a sense of balance
- Reclaim your sense of self beyond roles, stress, or trauma
- Recognize feelings are not good or bad, they just are
iRest helps you rest in who are- not who you think you should be.

🌿 iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation: Resting in Being Enough
Let’s take a moment to be real here, shall we? How often do you feel like you are doing enough? Or meeting the expectations (whether told or untold) of others? If you are like me, or the women I support, resting in being enough is rare.

Too many tabs open in your mind. Too many emotions are trapped in your body. Too much pressure to keep it all together. I get it. That’s why when I discovered iRest® Yoga Nidra, it became my place of rest.
More than just words, it soothes the nervous system and works behind the scenes for continued harmony in my body and mind. Backed by extensive research, this evidence-based practice can help you navigate all of life’s challenges.
This 30-minute iRest Yoga Nidra practice, Resting in Being Enough, is for you to try, designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and deep rest. This is your invitation to pause—not because you’ve earned it, but because you’re human.
You can listen lying down, curled up in a cozy blanket. You can listen sitting up, with your back supported and feet grounded. And if sitting still sounds too much right now, that’s okay too. This meditation is meant to meet you where you are—take it while walking or folding laundry. There is no requirement to clear your mind or sit still.

Schedule a group iRest Yoga Nidra meditation session or a 1:1 iRest Yoga Nidra meditation or guided process session. To schedule a group iRest® Yoga Nidra session, please email me at linda@themindfulneuro.com.
In a 1:1 iRest meditation, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore whatever thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations come up, and together, we work on meeting them with curiosity rather than judgment.

Here’s how 1:1 sessions work: Once payment is received, I will send an email with intake questions and instructions on preparing for your session. After the intake is complete, you will be contacted to schedule your session. Please email with any questions to linda@themindfulneuro.com.
As your guide, I’ll help you slow down, notice, and feel what’s present in your body and mind without needing to fix or change anything. You’re encouraged to follow your own pace. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, or want to connect more deeply with yourself, this co-meditation provides a gentle, supportive approach. We’ll use grounding techniques and breath awareness, and I’ll offer prompts to help you stay engaged with the process. I provide the map, but you lead the way, deciding what roads feel safest to go down.
1:1 iRest sessions are available online 45-60 minutes at $88 per session. There is a $35 cancellation fee. You have the option to reschedule your appointment twice. Please email with any questions to linda@themindfulneuro.com.
Little and Often = Big Changes
Building intentional habits by showing up little and often- again and again- builds trust within ourselves. Every decision to stop for a breath, paying attention to the coffee hitting your lips, and even saying no to something that doesn’t serve you, is a vote for the person you want to be. No pushing through shame, no striving to be more. Just resting in being enough in this minute.
